This week's aim was to design the basic workflow of the breathing application. This involved defining the below aspects:
1. High-level scene setting of the application.
2. Step-wise progress of the experience.
3. Building a story-line around the experience.
A rough-representation of the step-wise application-run could be understood from the below image.
Additionally, we also figured out the required tools and modules which will be helpful for starting the development of the application. We were able to research and accumulate the below resources:
1. Unity assets (aligned with the overall scene of the application).
2. Development environments on local systems.
With respect to the Virtual Reality hardware, we are using Oculus Go for our application. This week we were also able to perform the below tasks to bring the hardware up and running:
1. Pairing of Oculus Go with the present test systems.
2. Testing Oculus Go experience with default applications.
3. Setting up IDE and dependencies on local systems for application synchronization.
For detailed explanation of the application-run, the below information video is available for viewing.
Next week's roadmap will be to cover below aspects:
1. Start development of individual scenes.
2. Visualize external spirometer device readings on Unity application.
