This week's discussion included tasks which were much in detail over the topics discussed last week.
1. Integration - Oculus Go and Unity
Testing was performed on Oculus Go on integration with Unity apps. This included projecting a sample scene through Unity on Oculus and validating all the features of the application.
2. Detailed design documentation
With the flow of application discussed last week, the next step will be the creation of a detailed design document which will enlist all the major and minor steps.
These steps correlate with the types of breathing patterns which the application is trying to incorporate.
The documentation is ready and available on piazaa.
3. Scene building
One of the scenes which covers space objects and interactions (asteroids, planets, spaceship, etc.) was created. This scene was also tested on the integrated Oculus Go hardware.
4. Understanding how to handle light direction
One of the task we are trying to tackle is the change in direction of light during the application run. This will depend on the various scenes which we are trying to include and the breathing triggers required to perform specific tasks.
Next week's roadmap will be to cover below aspects:
1. Improve and finalize the scenes. Also, start development of new scenes.
2. Visualize external spirometer device readings on Unity application.
Please post any questions, comments, suggestions or feedbacks. We will be happy to address! Thank you for reading!
