Week 5 - Scene creation and Implementations


Workflow of events in scenes:


A. Wearing Suits + Equipments (Regular Breathing)

  1. 6 Breath - Get the suits and equipments (an astronaut model is wearing it, from which it gets off on breathing - to indicate the number of items left)

  2. If a gap of 2s in breathing - Audio input indicating breathe to collect astronaut set.

  3. If on 3 audios the kid doesn’t breathe - show some video clip showing what needs to be done.

B. Open the rocket door (Regular Breathing)

  1. Breath 1 - Open the rocket door

  2. If doesn’t breathe in 2s - Audio input indicating breathe to get in the rocket.

C. Launch the Rocket (Regular Breathing)

  1. We are now in control room. Take 5 breaths to launch the rocket.There is a lever that has levels, on every breath, another level lightens up.

  2. A countdown of 5, which would decrease with every breath.

  3. If doesn’t breathe for 2s - Audio input indicating breathe to launch the rocket.

  4. If kid doesn’t complete in 30s, launch the rocket.

D. Exit into space (Regular Breathing)

  1. Take a breath to open the door and exit into the space.

  2. If doesn’t breathe in 2s - Audio input indicating breathe to get into the space.

  3. Extinguish Fire (Short and Fast Breathing)

  4. In space, there is a burning ship passing nearby, breathe out 5 times pressing the cheek to extinguish the fire (an audio indicating that you need to put your hands on the cheek before breathing, we monitor it by observing change in pattern in backend - if no change for 2s, play the audio instructions again)

  5. If no change in pattern after 3 audios, show a video explaining what needs to be done.

  6. Intensity of fire decreases on every breath. The ship passes by in 30s, if not enough breath taken, nothing happens, game moves to the next stage.


E. Exhale to blow away asteroids (Deep Breathing)

  1. There are asteroids coming to you. An audio plays indicating that you need to take deep breaths to blow away asteroid. If doesn’t take breathe to blow away, asteroid vanishes after 6s. If blown away, a gem is received and added to a points bar.

  2. On an unsuccessful attempt, show a video indicating how it should be done. Bring another asteroid to give another chance for the process. If still unsuccessful, move to next step in the game.


F. Enter into rocket (Regular Breathing)

  1. Take a breath to open the door and get into the rocket.

  2. If doesn’t breathe in 2s - Audio input indicating breathe to get into the space.


G. Restore the power (Short and Fast Breathing)

  1. The lights are very dim in the rocket, to light up rocket completely, breathe out 5 times pressing the cheek to restore the power (an audio indicating that you need to put your hands on the cheek before breathing, we monitor it by observing change in pattern in backend - if no change for 2s, play the audio instructions again)

  2. If no change in pattern after 3 audios, show a video explaining what needs to be done.

  3. Intensity of light increases with every breath.

  4. If not completed in 30s, power is restored automatically.


H. Launch the Rocket (Regular Breathing)

  • We are now in control room. Take 5 breaths to launch the rocket.There is a lever that has levels, on every breath, another level lightens up.

  • A countdown of 5, which would decrease with every breath.

  • If doesn’t breathe for 2s - Audio input indicating breathe to launch the rocket.

  • If kid doesn’t complete in 30s, launch the rocket.


After this, the game continues without monitoring the breath. The rocket comes to earth, door opens, receive applause from people and mission ends.
